Yesterday, I attended the NY Theremin Society's first workshop, held at Pioneerworks, in Brooklyn, NY. It was a good opportunity to learn a little more about my instrument and meet other thereminists. The workshop was conducted by Dorit Chrysler, Rob Schwimmer, and Charlie Hobbs. We learned to play separate parts of a musical work called "Icelandic Volcano," and -- woohoo! -- we'll be performing it at a concert on March 29! I got some good photos during the breaks. You can see them here.
